Set to the sounds of the 2004 motion picture soundtrack, passengers will step into the magic of the classic story as they climb aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Tram Ride at Seaton Tramway. This enchanting 2.5-hour journey will transport families into the world of the beloved Christmas film.

Starting at Seaton, you will collect those all-important golden Tickets – don’t lose them! Once the show is ready to begin, a special pre-departure show will begin! After the grand arrival & the trams arrive, you will climb on board, where you will be served your delicious Hot Chocolate and Cookies!

Guests are invited to read along with Chris Van Allsburg’s classic book, The Polar Express, as the story unfolds around them.

On the way to the North Pole, the Conductor and his Dancing Chefs will entertain you, all before arriving to see Santa on the Platform!

At this event, you will get to step off onto the North Pole, where the elves are there to greet you. Be wary of any other magical characters!
Families will be taken to the ‘centre of the city’ to Santa Claus, who will present everyone with their first gift of Christmas – a silver sleigh bell. There will be an opportunity to eat food and shop in Santa’s Toy Shop while you’re there!

Throughout the trip, familiar characters will join you for festive carols, fun, and magical moments just like in the film.

Every guest will take home their silver sleigh bell, along with unforgettable memories of this award-winning Christmas adventure.

Please note: Seaton Tramway’s event takes place on board narrow-gauge heritage specially decorated single-deck tramcars. The North Pole has inside and outside areas, so remember to wrap up warm.
